Why your documents look so dull

Microsoft products have the worst default colours. I blame Microsoft’s colour choice for the dullness of Word documents and PowerPoint presentations.

Flat UI Colors is my favourite resource for projects that don’t need unique sets of colour but can benefit from a quick burst of colour.

I tweaked the colours of the graphs and charts in my research project during my fourth year at university. The graphics popped off the page and made the document more interesting to look at.
